Independent Silicon Valley-based automaker Tesla Motors is responsible for the Tesla Roadster — an all-electric car capable of accelerating to 60 mph in just four seconds, while offering a gasoline equivalent milage of 135 MPG, and a 250 mile range. The high-performance roadster is capable of performance numbers that should rival high end exotic sports cars.
